Mexico is a very near and dear place to my heart. It is at the heart of who I am and it captures how I grew up. Our restaurant Consuelos was born not only out of the love of food but from the very love that I have received from both my Mother and Grandmother. Consuelo is my Grandmothers name and my Mother was named after her. They have both have engraved within me a deep love for cooking the Mexican way. Their love for cooking is my love and is the heritage of my family...
